But this was just step one of the process. Friends of Riley's Pour House and the Priory Hospitality Group know that the need to fill the funding gaps in the rebuilding process are greater than that. Please stay tuned for next steps to assist ownership in bringing the Pour House to new life!
The Pour House's rebirth is still in planning stages, but please know that the ownership of the pub and their professional advisors (architects, engineers and designers) are working diligently to finalize the plans for the rebuild and to obtain all necessary permits to break ground and move forward.
In the meantime, we are happy to provide reporting on the August 24 Raise a Glass Event, which you can access here.
Please note that all financial support is subject to our Raise a Glass Transparency and Reporting Policies, and note that all funds raised and spent are accounted for on this Website. The Raise a Glass to Rebuild Riley's concert fundraiser event, held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Grand Hall at the Priory, was a smashing success. The fundraiser featured five separate live bands offering a stunningly diverse array of music – from Irish traditional to 1970's rock to Irish/rock hybrids. In between we were treated to the "Irish" belly dancing of Joanna Abel of Third Street Belly Dance as well as the lively bumper music of DJ Paulie Walnutz.
We sold in excess of 750 tickets, and raised nearly $75,000 gross throughout the evening. Our thanks to our sponsors, performers, attendees, donors, volunteers and other supporters for making this wonderful day such a success.

"The Pour House has been an institution here in Carnegie for decades, a 'destination'. Employing a tremendous amount of people over the years and being a huge asset to the community. My business has had a symbiotic relationship with the Pour House for over 2 decades. I can’t wait to see it lighting up the center of nightlife again in my town!"
"Riley's Pour House is not just another restaurant or pub... Riley's is the SOUL of Carnegie. It holds lovely memories and great times. It holds love. Carnegie needs its Pour House and the Pour House needs all of us."
"Carnegie is no stranger to tragedy, but the loss of Riley's Pour House to a fire last November hit our community especially hard. Riley's was a staple of our Main Street that brought folks from all over the area. We are all excited for Riley's to return."
"As a borough, community, and surrounding region, we truly couldn't be happier to see Riley’s rise again. The Pour House has always been more than just a place to grab a drink; it's been a cornerstone of our local life, a gathering spot for friends and neighbors, and a testament to the spirit of our town. This isn't just about a pub reopening; it's about the return of a vital piece of our community's heart."
Riley's Pour House's ownership was able to reveal a first look at the renderings of the new Riley's Pour House at the Raise a Glass event.
Although many aspects of the rebuilding process – permitting, inspections, plan review, etc. – are beyond a project owner's control, Pour House ownership is committed to moving forward with all speed to break ground on the new Riley's Pour House as soon as possible.
At present, the ownership team is working diligently with their professional consultants to create a new version of the Pour House which will honor the memories of our many regular guests while providing a stunning gathering spot for all of our friends, both old and new!
